Dark at 5:30 in the evening, and still over a month to go until the Solstice. Not sure I can take it.
Only consolation: It didn't start raining on my long run today until I was back in my driveway.

I hear you!! I was ruminating on the dark the other day as I was heading in from a long walk at 3:30 and it was already looking rather sundownish--and a month to go with shorter days before the whole length of day reverses course. My consolation?? At least I'm not in Alaska. (Although I'd love to visit--in the summer!!)

I thought I was the only one counting down 'til the winter solstice when the daylight gets longer!
The statement at the beginning of your post says it all. You are who you choose to be.
Doesn't it seem darker this year for some reason?
